Testimonials
As a first-time director, working with Jim was a pleasure. He was both supportive and patient, and keen to hear my voice. He struck the balance perfectly between leading and executing with his experience, whilst creating a safe space for me to be able to share and execute my vision.
Jim is a great film Editor. He was brilliant at improving scenes we thought were already as good as they could be, from script stage and beyond. He often found ingenious ways of using limited material to deliver the right impact. Jim also used his creative VFX ideas to heighten key moments in the film or simply fix any technical issues. If you want an editor with a passion and talent for what he does whilst always respecting and serving a director's vision, then Jim is an excellent choice.
Jim is a director's dream. He's been genuinely invaluable in our work together, always receptive to ideas and insightful in his own. He's forthright and honest but never forceful, and that combined with his ability to see not only my vision, but the film for what it could be, means that his advice and clarity of thought have been essential - he has got me out of more than one corner! I couldn't recommend or thank him enough: for his patience and his wonderful craft.
It's been a dream to work with Jim. He was one of the biggest blessings of my project. Not only is he a genius but he's super professional and committed. I've gained a life long collaborator and friend.
Jim Page is tremendous. To have an Editor with such enthusiasm and creativity, matched with technical expertise, it is a privilege”
James has an eye for detail but doesn’t lose sight of the whole, is frank without being dogmatic and always puts the film first. He understands story, subtlety and the importance of an endless supply of Diet Coke

A morbid yet classy take on a morbid classic. Great work.

‘Working with James is always stimulating, he is pro-active and brings fresh ideas to the table. I strongly feel that James has the wonderful ability to objectively understand every story he is a part of telling and find the most appropriate and well-paced way to pass it on to his audience. If you’re not working with James, you should be.’
Jim is a talented Editor and creative collaborator and I look forward to cutting my next film with him.
"It's a joy as a Director to sit in an edit and feel like your editor totally sees the story you want to tell and the shape and pace you need. Jim has a great instinct for film, and I trusted him the whole way- great bloke too!"
"Jim Page has three important ingredients in abundance: hard work, creativity and commitment. I've consistently been pleased with the work he's done for for me and why I always hire him!"
"Apart from his obvious talent as an Editor, Jim also has the added gift of seeing the 'big picture' of structure and storylines, which is of great help to the whole team. He's also great fun to work with and makes what could be hard and sometimes frustrating work very enjoyable."
"James has worked on a number of series for me, and has been excellent on every one. He works fast and efficiently, and has a strong visual sense and a keen grasp of narrative. I enjoy working with him and would not hesitate to recommend him."
